Brush Fire on 2/3/2022
SDSU Urgent was activated on Feb. 3, 2022 after a brush fire broke out near Parking Structure 4, in the 6100 block of Montezuma.
Feb. 3 at 11:26 a.m.: All Clear: The area around Parking Structure 4, in the 6100 block of Montezuma, is now open following a brush fire reported nearby this morning. No structures were at risk and there are no reports of injuries or damage.
Feb. 3 at 11:04 a.m.: University Police received a report of a brush fire near the south side of Parking Structure 4, in the 6100 block of Montezuma. The San Diego Fire Department is responding and the fire is now contained. All are asked to avoid the area. No structures are at risk of fire and no evacuations have been issued. SDSU will continue to provide timely updates as information becomes available.
