Campus Police Activity

Thursday, Oct. 17: 7:07 p.m.: Both SDPD and the San Diego State University Police Department have provided an all-clear, there is no longer police activity on-campus following a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle. One suspect is in custody. There is no threat to the campus community.

Thursday, Oct. 17: 7:03 p.m.: There is not an active shooter situation. Avoid the area of Montezuma and 55th Street. Policy activity in pursuit of suspects. There is no immediate threat to campus. 

Thursday, Oct. 17: 6:52 p.m.: Police activity near the area of Montezuma and 55th Street. Police pursuing 2 outstanding suspects that have felony warrants. Suspects fled after a short police pursuit by SDPD. University Police on scene and assisting. Avoid the area and be aware of your surroundings. More info to follow here as it becomes available. No immediate threat to campus.
