Partial Gas Line Outage

Feb. 24, 2025, 1:54 p.m.: SDSU Facilities Services is aware of a partial gas line outage impacting the following buildings: buildings in Lot 16 (SDSU Garage, Building A, HazMat Building), Geology Mathematics Computer Science, North Life Sciences, Life Sciences South, Engineering, Chemical Sciences Laboratories and the Engineering & Interdisciplinary Science Complex. The outage will impact domestic water and lab gas services to these buildings. Crews are already on site and working on a repair. The gas leak has been isolated during the repair and there is no risk to the community. This does not impact SDSU Imperial Valley.

Feb. 24, 2025, 4:20 p.m.: Following this afternoon’s partial gas line outage, the gas line has been repaired and service has been restored. As previously shared, the gas leak was isolated during the repair and there is no risk to the community. The partial gas outage did not impact SDSU Imperial Valley.
