Campus-Wide Emergency Systems Testing Held

San Diego State University conducted a scheduled test of its emergency communication systems on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at approximately 10 a.m.

Such routine tests are part of the university’s ongoing efforts to ensure the reliability of its emergency notification tools and to help familiarize the SDSU community with how critical information would be shared during an actual emergency.

Communication methods tested included web alerts, text messages, emails, digital signage, outdoor notification systems (on the main campus), and/or phone calls.
