Power Outage 5/7/22
SDSU Urgent was activated on May 07, 2022 after a power outage impacted parts of campus.
May 8 at 10:10 a.m.: Facilities Services (FS) and the University Police Department continue to assess the partial early morning power outage which impacted several buildings and locations on the west side of campus. Power has been restored to all buildings, with the exception of Chapultepec Residence Hall, which is currently operating on emergency power. Work continues to fully restore power there. Timely updates continue to be shared at Urgent.sdsu.edu.
Call Facilities Services at 619-594-4754 should you experience any direct power-related impacts and need support, or 911 in the event of an emergency.
May 8 at 2:21 a.m.: Facilities Services (FS) and the University Police Department continue to assess the partial power outage impacting several buildings and locations on campus. Since the last update (information below), power has been restored to a number of buildings and fewer buildings and locations now remain without power.
Call Facilities Services at 619-594-4754 should you experience any direct power-related impacts and need support, or 911 in the event of an emergency.

May 7 at 11:50 p.m.: SDSU Alert: SDSU is aware of a partial power outage impacting parts of campus. No injuries have been reported and both Facilities Services (FS) and the University Police Department are assessing to identify the cause and a solution. Call Facilities Services at 619-594-4754 should you experience any direct power-related impacts and need support, or 911 in the event of an emergency.
